Lessons Learned: Ensuring High-Quality Care in Every CA Hospital
Join a panel discussion focusing on nursing lessons learned while caring for people who use drugs—review how practitioners worked through common nursing barriers and evaluated the integration of evidence-based substance use treatment in diverse settings.

Adolescents and young adults are experiencing fast-growing rates of opioid overdose and hospitalization, yet have the lowest rates of access to treatment. In this session, CA Bridge will share learnings from a pilot project to improve access to medication for addiction treatment for young people (ages 12 to 26). Presenters will share their experience in coalition-building to reach vulnerable youth and answer questions about dosing and consent considerations when treating patients under 18.
This series offers CME for physicians and self-reported hours for other clinicians.
